Powering the EcoBoost is a 2.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine with 232kW and 475Nm – 4kW down but 27Nm up. Ford says it has been updated with a revised turbocharger, exhaust manifold, camshaft and electronic wastegate.

The GT uses an upgraded 5.0-litre V8 with dual 80 mm throttle body, now developing 347 kW and 550 Nm – up 8 kW but down 6 Nm – mated to a six-speed Getrag manual or 10-speed automatic transmission coincides with.
